WEEKLY AI SMARTPHONE GUIDE | CODE #001

Your phone is the most powerful tool you own, yet most people treat it like a toy. Today, we start treating it like the interface it actually is.

Welcome to Vryqz. You’re holding Code #001—the first of many weekly audits designed to plug the financial and digital leaks that come with the AI era. Let’s get to work.

Your phone might be spending your money while you sleep.

With the 2026 rollout of AI features in almost every app, developers are getting aggressive. They’ve moved the "Cancel" button, shortened trial periods, and started charging "convenience fees" that don't show up on your main bank statement until it’s too late.

If you’ve downloaded a "Smart Photo Editor" or an "AI Assistant" lately, there’s a high chance you’re on a ticking clock toward a $10–$20 monthly charge you don't even want.

Stop the leak in under 60 seconds:

THE MOBILE CHEAT CODE

For iPhone (iOS 26):

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Account Name at the very top.

  3. Tap Subscriptions.

  4. Look at the "Active" list. If you see a "Trial" ending soon for an app you haven't used in three days, tap it and hit Cancel Subscription.

For Android (Android 15):

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Tap your Profile Icon (top right).

  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions -> Subscriptions.

  4. Review the list. Tap any app you don't recognize or need, then select Cancel subscription.

The Pro Secret: In 2026, you can cancel a "Free Trial" the exact minute you sign up. You keep the premium features for the full trial period, but eliminate the risk of a surprise bill. Set it and forget it.

Privacy Check: Many of these new "Trial" apps ask for Full Access to your Photo Library or Contacts during setup. While you're in the settings above, go to Privacy & Security -> Research Sensor & Usage Data and make sure you aren't "leaking" your habits to these 3rd party developers for free.

This 60-second audit saves the average user $120 to $300 a year.
